I know it's been ages since the last post and I still didn't download all the pictures that we took in Paris in March. But I've been back there last friday for my au pair interview (let's keep our fingers crossed for that) and I went to the Orsay Museum. Oh I wanted to see all the sculptures for so long !

I did a crazy dream this morning about a swamp and a huge snake who was going after 3 little kids. They were able to escape by grabbing a big... thing, you know like Tarzan ? It was very spooky. And afterwards I was in the Waltons' kitchen (who wasn't the real one), painting some dishes in this beautiful metallic blue color. What is the point ? Really.

WAITING FOR MARCH

I like it when I have to write things for Orfeo (the opera) or for the Cybertremplin (the contest on the Adem website for bands of the Alpes-Maritimes). So I'm happy with my internship from now, especially because I don't use the PHONE.
Honestly, the thought of speaking to someone that I don't know, to ask them something for work is terrifying me. Mostly because I don't know what I'm talking about, so I feel lost.
I'm tired all the time, surely because Mark is absolutly exhausted. I'm trying to stay awake with awesome music (so awesome that I made a CD of it... and sent it on the other side of the world).
So I just wanted to post a picture.
Fortunatly, March is on its way.

ITALIA

In the park in Torino, Italia.
I've always been fascinated by those towns which give such an important role to Nature. In Nice we don't have any park, just little gardens, and mostly, they're for kids. That's why I loved London so much : it was able to satisfy my passion for trees. In Torino, another great aspect of the city is the fact that there is a river, the Po (hahaa). In Parco Valentino, it's always the Autumn, by the river and the brown trees.
When I was walking, I heard a girl laughing because her boyfriend was carying her around. She was laughing like a little girl. Not in a silly way I mean, she really had this laugh that only children have. With the voice of a child, full of joy, pure with happiness.
I thought of you.

8 months ago today...

I stepped off a plane, got my luggage, and walked outside the small airport onto the street in Nice, France - and there was this slender, chic woman, wearing a pretty sleeveless blouse, tight jeans, and adorable little worn-out shoes, with bright green eyes and wild, soft, brown hair spilling across her forhead and over her shoulders, framing her heart-shaped face and making her look even more petit by comparison, and this shy little smile (I had no idea that she was incredibly nervous) - this was the woman I'd been writing to, chatting with, heard her voice in a video recording (speaking French), even seen some pictures of (I thought she was cute)...but when she smiled at me, the most beautiful woman I could imagine, maybe I knew even then that my life was changing forever. Morgane, mon coeur, je t'adore.

HOME

I've found my old grades of my exams in Law School. Some examples :
Relations Internationales : 8/20
Droit de la Famille : 6/20
and the best one :
Introduction Historique au Droit : 6/30
Isn't this just wonderful ?
Maybe my Panda will write something tomorow for our anniversary (otherwise I'm sad).
And since he can't come before March, here's a little of home as a gift.
Poutous.

HOLIDAY

Yeah !!! Classes OVER ! Exams OVER ! College OVER !
... At least for now...
I had my exam of Journalisme sur le Web yesterday and Journalisme d'Information plus Rédaction du Magazine today. As you can see, stupid classes about journalism when I just don't care about journalism.
But it's OVER.
I have one free week before my internship, which I think will be pretty interesting and funny and cool. It must be, since there will be my mom, François (Flo's dad) and Vincent (not my mom's boyfriend, but the one whith whom she works). And all of them are crazy.
Anyway, lot of work's awaiting but it's not SCHOOL !

I feel so accomplished.
CRAPAUD
(Crapaud Day is on January the 23rd)
Amen.

It's a drawing!

Ok. I realize that I am NOT the first person to try rhyming "crapaud" with "chapeau". But my only goal was to amuse myself. And I did. "Crapaud" is, ever since Morgane taught it to me the other day, the most hilarious word in existence. HA HA HA HA! Crapaud crapaud crapaud!

HERE COMES THE SUN

I think I first thought of the idea of sharing a blog with Mark a few months ago, after we mentionned a certain trip together...

So it can be a cool way to know what the other is doing (because terrible events always keep us from being together), and in English, for French is not understood by everybody here (ahaaa).
And if one day I really move to the United States, my dear friends can still have a way to know what I do with my crazy life.
But I think I will keep my LiveJournal account too.

And, Love, you're supposed to post some drawings, because I obviously can't.
I can talk about music to compensate if you want.
And the drawings are better if there are some pandas in them, of course...

This week is just AWFUL, with stupid classes and 3 other exams on Thursday and Friday.
AND I have to worry about my driving test, AND my internship, AND visas, AND family, AND friends who are not with me, AND Mark can't come in February.
So I'm gonna die.
I just try to focus on the fact that the classes are almost over and that maybe next year will be the beginning of the rest of my life.

Voilà c'était THE début passionant.
